Integration Examples
Step-by-step paste-and-go guides for the most common host platforms — WordPress, Squarespace, Wix, plain HTML, React, and Next.js.
Integration Examples
The Donations Embed works on every host platform that lets you paste an HTML snippet — which is to say, every host platform. The recipes below walk through the click-by-click setup for the six platforms our customers use most often.
If yours is not in the list, the plain HTML recipe is a fully general fallback — paste those two lines into any HTML and the embed will render.
| Platform | Page type | Setup time |
|---|---|---|
| WordPress | Post or page (Block editor or Classic editor) | ~3 min |
| Squarespace | Code block on any page | ~3 min |
| Wix | HTML embed element | ~3 min |
| Plain HTML | Any static HTML file | ~2 min |
| React app | Any React 18 / 19 component tree | ~5 min |
| Next.js | App Router or Pages Router | ~5 min |
Every recipe targets the same outcome: a working sandbox donation flow with the test card 4111 1111 1111 1111 driving a real test donation that lands in your Hub.
Before you start
You will need a sandbox publishable key (pk_test_…) — generate one in the Hub under Donations Embed → Keys. See Getting Started → Step 1 if you have not done this yet.
After your first test donation
Once you confirm the sandbox flow works on your platform, swap the sandbox key for a live key (pk_live_…) and you are in production. The platforms below have nothing else to configure once the embed renders — the rest of the integration (donation receipts, webhook deliveries, fund routing) is handled by the platform.
