Creating an Account
Sign up for 1st Flock by creating your personal account, setting up your church organization, choosing a plan, and entering payment details.
Creating an Account
There are two ways to create a 1st Flock account: signing up directly to start a new church organization, or accepting an invitation from an existing church.
Signing Up as a New Organization
When you sign up directly, you'll walk through four steps to get your church set up and ready to use.
Step 1: Your Personal Information
Enter your first name, last name, email address, and a password. Your password must be at least eight characters and include uppercase and lowercase letters, a number, and a special character. You can also sign up using Google, Amazon, or Apple instead of creating a password — your account will be linked to that provider for future sign-ins.
After submitting your information, a verification code is sent to your email. Enter the six-digit code to confirm your email address and continue to the next step.
Step 2: Church Information
Provide your church's details: name, email, phone number, mailing address (street, city, state, zip code, and country), and optionally your denomination. This information is used for your account profile, billing, and public-facing pages like your donation page.
Step 3: Choose a Plan
Select the subscription plan that fits your church's needs. 1st Flock offers modular products — Church Management and Finance — that can be purchased individually or bundled. Toggle between monthly and annual billing to compare pricing, with annual plans offering a discount. If you have a promotional code, you can apply it on this step.
Step 4: Payment
Enter your payment information to activate your subscription. You can pay by credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover) or bank account (ACH). Your payment details are securely tokenized and never touch 1st Flock servers. Once payment is confirmed, your church account is created and you're redirected to get started.
Accepting an Invitation
If a church administrator invites you to join their organization, you'll receive an email with an invitation link. Clicking the link takes you to the signup page with your information pre-filled (name, email, and assigned role). You only need to set a password (or sign in with a social provider) and verify your email. There's no need to set up a church or choose a plan — you'll be added to the existing church with the role your administrator assigned.
If the invitation link has expired or is no longer valid, you'll see an error message with options to sign up independently or go to the login page.
Resuming an Interrupted Signup
If your signup was interrupted (for example, your browser closed during the payment step), you can resume where you left off. Navigate back to the signup page and sign in with the credentials you already created. You'll be taken directly to the step where you left off.
After Signup
Once your account is created, you're signed in and redirected to the 1st Flock Hub where you can access all the apps available to your church. See Getting Started for a walkthrough of what to do next.
