Settings

The Settings page allows you to manage your personal preferences, profile information, and security settings for your Finance app account.

Accessing Settings

Settings is accessible from the sidebar under your profile menu or by clicking your avatar in the header.

Preferences Tab

Configure your personal app preferences:

Theme: Choose how the app displays:

• Light — Use light colors for all pages
• Dark — Use dark colors for all pages
• System — Follow your computer's system theme setting

Timezone: Select your local timezone. This affects how dates and times are displayed throughout the app and determines the time zone used for report generation.

Profile Tab

Manage your personal profile information:

Name: Your full name as displayed in the app and on shared reports.

Email: Your primary email address associated with your account. This is used for authentication, password resets, and notifications.

Contact Details: Additional contact information such as phone number or title within your organization.

Security Tab

Manage your account security and session settings:

Password: Update your account password. You will be prompted to enter your current password before setting a new one.

Two-Factor Authentication: Enable two-factor authentication (2FA) for additional account security. When enabled, you will need to provide a verification code in addition to your password when signing in.

Session Management: View active sessions and sign out of other devices. Useful if you want to end a session on a lost or compromised device.

Tab Navigation

Tabs can be accessed by clicking the tab name or by using the URL query parameter ?tab=preferences|profile|security. For example:

Shared Settings Library

The Settings page uses the shared @1st-flock/settings-ui library, ensuring consistent settings experience across all 1st Flock apps.
