Admin Panel
Manage church settings, subscriptions, users, and payment methods
Admin Panel
The Admin Panel is where church administrators manage subscriptions, team access, billing, and church-wide settings. Access is restricted to users with administrator privileges.
Subscription Status
View your current subscription plan, including:
- Active Plan: Which subscription tier your church has (Starter, Professional, Enterprise, etc.)
- Renewal Date: When your subscription renews
- Billing Frequency: Monthly or annual billing
- Feature Access: Which modules are enabled (Management, Finance, Communications, etc.)
Licensed Users
See how many user accounts your church has and how many are included in your subscription. Most plans include a certain number of users; additional users cost extra. You can:
- View User List: See all accounts and which groups they belong to
- Invite Users: Add new staff members or volunteers
- Deactivate Users: Disable accounts for departed staff
For controlling what each user can see and do — assigning them to groups (Admins, Staff, Finance Admins, or any custom group you create) and granting individual permissions — use the Access Control page. That's where fine-grained access decisions live; the Admin Panel just shows the summary.
Feature Toggles
Enable or disable specific features for your church. For example, if you're not using the Donations module yet, you can turn it off to simplify the interface. Features can be toggled on anytime—no complicated reconfiguration needed.
Features include:
- Calendar & Events
- Communications
- Donations & Finance
- Reports
- Background Checks
- Children's Ministry
- Check-In Kiosk
- Files & Storage
Payment Methods
Manage how your church is billed:
- Add Payment Method: Save a credit card or bank account for automatic billing
- View Payment History: See past charges and invoices
- Update Billing Address: Keep your address current
Your payment method is encrypted and stored securely with your payment processor.
Billing Information
Review and update your church's billing details:
- Church Name: Legal name for invoices
- Billing Address: Where invoices are sent
- Contact Email: Primary email for billing notifications
- Tax ID: Your church's EIN for tax purposes (if applicable)
Plan Changes
Upgrade or downgrade your subscription from the Admin Panel. Changes take effect immediately:
- Upgrade: Get access to new features or add more users
- Downgrade: Reduce costs by switching to a lower tier (may remove features)
If you downgrade and lose access to a feature, your data is preserved and becomes accessible again if you upgrade.
Tax Settings
If your church offers donations, configure your church's tax information so donors can receive accurate tax statements. See the Tax Settings page for details on:
- Tax ID (EIN): Your church's federal employer ID number
- Tax Status: Non-profit, for-profit, or other classification
This information appears on tax statements issued to donors.
Church Settings
Configure general church information:
- Church Name: Official name displayed across the app
- Website: Link to your church's main website
- Contact Information: Phone number and email for public inquiries
- Logo & Branding: Upload your church logo for custom branding
Support & Help
In the Admin Panel, you'll find:
- Help Resources: Links to documentation and video tutorials
- Support Contact: Email or phone to reach support if issues arise
- System Status: Check if any integrations are offline or having issues
Audit Log
For security, view a log of admin actions taken in your account (user additions, feature changes, billing updates, etc.). This helps you track who made changes and when.
Permission grants, role changes, and impersonation ("simulate as user") sessions are recorded in the dedicated Access Control audit log, which filters and exports independently.
Backups & Data
Your church's data is automatically backed up daily. In rare cases where you need to restore data, your admin can request a backup from support. You can also request a full export of your data in standard formats (CSV, JSON) for archival purposes.
Next Steps: Invite additional staff members, set their access via the Access Control page, adjust your subscription plan to enable new features, or configure tax settings for your donations.
