Browse and watch church videos with YouTube channel integration

Videos

The Videos section displays church-produced and curated video content, integrated directly from your YouTube channel. Members can browse, search, and watch videos on demand.

Connecting Your YouTube Channel

For Administrators: Set up your YouTube channel connection in the Admin Panel. Authorize the app to access your YouTube account, and the system will automatically pull in all videos from your channel.

Once connected, new videos you publish to YouTube appear in the Videos section automatically within a few minutes.

Browsing Videos

The Videos page displays a grid of thumbnails showing your church's video library. Hover over a video to see the title, upload date, and duration. Click to expand details or watch.

By default, videos are sorted by most recent first, but you can adjust the sort order (oldest first, alphabetical, most watched).

Searching Videos

Use the search bar to find videos by title or description. Search is quick and searches across all metadata your videos contain.

Watching Videos

Click a video to view its details page, which includes:

  • Title and Description: Full information about the content
  • Embed Player: Watch directly in the app without leaving
  • Duration: How long the video is
  • Upload Date: When it was published
  • Related Videos: Recommendations for similar or related content

You can watch in full-screen mode for an immersive viewing experience.

Video Types

Videos might include:

  • Recorded Sunday services or sermon clips
  • Teaching series and Bible studies
  • Announcements and ministry highlights
  • Worship and music performances
  • Training and onboarding content for volunteers

Privacy & Sharing

Videos can be:

  • Public: Visible to anyone (if unlisted on YouTube, visible to members only in this app)
  • Member-Only: Visible to logged-in members only
  • Group-Specific: Visible only to members of a particular group or ministry

Administrators control visibility settings. Members cannot download videos but can watch as many times as they like.

Recommended Videos

The system learns from viewing patterns and may suggest related videos on your profile or dashboard based on what you've watched before.

Next Steps: Set up your YouTube channel in the Admin Panel, or add videos to your library to help members stay connected to church content.
